Project Overview
The Urban Oasis Courtyard House is a family home designed to provide a tranquil refuge in the bustling city of Miami. The house is centered around a lush, private courtyard that serves as the heart of the home, offering a peaceful outdoor space shielded from the urban environment. Large sliding glass doors connect the indoor and outdoor areas, creating a seamless flow between the two. The design is modern yet warm, with natural materials and a neutral color palette.
Challenge
The main challenge was maximizing privacy and creating a quiet, serene space in a densely populated urban area. Additionally, the integration of the courtyard into the overall design while ensuring natural light and ventilation throughout the house required thoughtful planning.
Result
The Urban Oasis Courtyard House successfully creates a sense of calm and privacy in the middle of the city. The Rodriguez Family now enjoys a home that feels like a retreat, with a central courtyard that offers a private outdoor space for relaxation and family gatherings.
